Birthday in Seattle - Museum of Flight

Oh boy, we fit a lot of things in to my birthday celebration! After the police museum, we took in a bit of Seattle culture as we took a bus to the Museum of Flight - what an experience. We found the right "bus platform" to take us to the museum, and we found the right "exit" to museum. This museum was the coolest!! There is a whole section of the museum dedicated to WWI & WWII airplanes - the highlight of our trip to the museum. WWI exhibits take up the whole first floor, and WWII exhibits are on a whole second floor. We spent close to three hours checking out both floors as well as viewing a couple short films. WOW! We were both in heaven the whole time. Husband was like a kid in a candy store with all the planes on the floor, the walls, the ceiling! I was the designated photo-taker, and I don't think there was an exhibit or plane he wanted to do without a pic of. After taking in as much of the war exibits as one possibly could, we headed to the main exhibit of the big planes, the planes outside, and even saw some of the exhibits in the original Boeing factory. We didn't make it to see one of the actual Air Force One airplanes, but we fit a LOT in! We had so much fun at this museum, and can't wait to go back and spend even more time there!
