Happy Birthday!
"Happy Birthday" is the greeting given to patients around the country on the day they have their stem cell transplant. An appropriate greeting, indeed. The stem cell transplant is a patient's opportunity for renewal and rebirth - a chance to live. Today is Mom's "Happy Birthday!" She had her stem cell transplant and it went fantastic!! Now comes the recovery & regrowth of good cells. We're praying hard that the good cells quickly take over her body and that she has no experience with infection or problems with her compromised immune system. God is indeed good!!

That's soooo wonderful!!! Our prayers still go out each day for a recovery and remission. We love you all. Garret says it's almost the same as his birthday and he's excited to share that with your mom!!
